Introducing the H7565, a 14" Corrugated Sole Jack Plane
The H7565 is designed for general-purpose use, effectively removing significant amounts of material from rough stock to bring it closer to final size. It can also be utilized for smoothing and jointing flat surfaces, depending on the workpiece size.
The 14" ground corrugated and flat sole minimizes friction on the workpiece, enhancing sliding action. The corrugations can hold paraffin or wax for simultaneous finishing and contribute to a potential reduction in material flattening if the plane sole changes shape.
The chip breaker is designed to curl shavings, minimizing tear-out ahead of the cutting edge and reducing chatter. The mouth opening is easily adjustable with a knurled brass adjusting nut.
Key features of the H7565 include a hardwood handle and front knob, full plane iron adjustments, cast-iron base, and frog and lever caps. The product is covered by a 1-year warranty, which covers parts and ensures freedom from factory defects. However, consumables are not covered by the warranty.
