The G0582 24" 10 HP Platen Type Wide-Belt Sander.
Designed to sand large workpieces to the desired thickness. It features a combination drum and platen head for improved finishing on wood pieces up to 24" wide.
The machine has double infeed and outfeed pressure rollers for efficient processing of short pieces, ensuring continuous downward pressure on stock as thin as 1/8" and as short as 14". The sanding belt size required is 25" wide by 60" long.
The feed belt, made of harder rubber, prevents distortion of thin stock during sanding, ensuring parallel sanding in any thickness of stock. The machine is suitable for woodworkers, cabinetmakers, and production shops working on intricate pieces like musical instruments, ornate trim, and cabinet faces.
Additional features include a digital readout, powered table elevation, four screw jacks for table support, variable speed, disc brake stopping system, and a dust-proof photoelectric eye/pneumatic control for belt oscillation.
