A marking Gauge is designed to score wood fibers to indicate where to make a cut for joinery, typically in the fabrication of wooden furniture and accessories. Made from solid Beech hardwood, with inset brass wear plates, and a thumbscrew lock. The pin is easy to remove for sharpening.
