Introducing the W1667 8-1/2" Benchtop Oscillating Drill Press
A versatile machine that seamlessly transitions between a drill press and an oscillating sander, all within a compact design.
Equipped with a JT33 keyed drill chuck, the Shop Fox W1667 offers a 2" travel and a drilling capacity of 1/2" through mild steel. The 1/2 HP motor powers the machine through five spindle speeds, ranging from 550 to 3000 RPM.
In addition to drilling, this machine features an oscillating spindle for contour sanding, accommodating drums ranging from 1" to 2" in diameter and 4-1/4" long. Extend the functionality by purchasing additional drums and sleeves for sanding small or finely detailed pieces.
The oscillating feature not only extends the life of abrasives but also enhances the finishing quality. The 7" by 7" table tilts 90° in both directions, allowing surfaces to be sanded at various angles. Table inserts provide maximum support for the workpiece, and a dust port facilitates connection to your dust collection system.
