Gas struts simplify headstock adjustments to accommodate varying board thickness while preserving table positions. The 15", 4-row helical cutterhead boasts 48 indexable carbide inserts, each with three rotations for fresh, sharp edges.
These inserts are angled to produce shearing cuts, minimize tearout, and deliver a smoother finish with reduced noise levels.
A robust 230V, 3 HP motor effortlessly handles cuts up to 1/8" deep at full width or 3/16" deep on material up to 6" wide. Tailor your feed rate with the 2-speed gearbox, selecting from 16 and 28 FPM for a fine finish or high-production output.
The G0891 also features a thickness scale, a large top-mounted handwheel, a cabinet-style stand, cast-iron extension tables, an angled dust port, and a magnetic switch with thermal overload protection.
