These pear-shaped handle gouges are perfect for smaller projects or where space is limited. The handle is comfortable and includes a flat on one side to stop it from rolling off your workbench. Each handle has a high gloss finish. The blades are approximately 4" long. The overall length with the handle is around 6-1/2".
The same blades are used in our carving tools fitted with octagonal hornbeam handles.
Blades are hand-forged from high carbon steel, heat-treated to 61 degrees Rockwell then sharpened, honed, and polished ready for use.
